Impact of Japan

Recently I visited Japan for 15 days on AOTS scholarship. It was time and money well spent. About 12 lectures and visits to 8 factories: that was the total content, but it gave a deep insight into future of Japanese Technology and management.
Lot of high tech and more important a peek into japanese thinking. TOYOTA is now coming up with Ranaissance Model of Quality Management. Basically it is PC centric and adds to lots of their experience of last few decades. Details are still not available, but one can easily imagine come up with their own version.. worth trying..
